Midwife Cares was founded on a simple frustration: the products marketed to new mothers often fall short of the standards midwives hold in clinical practice. Chloe Ferriter set out to change that.

Our founder

Chloe Ferriter is a registered midwife, born and trained in Ireland, who has practised across Ireland, the UAE, and the Gulf. She graduated from the University of Galway with a Bachelor of Midwifery Science and holds active registration with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Ireland (NMBI).

Her career has spanned hospital wards, home births, neonatal intensive care, and private consultation. In every setting she noticed the same gap: families were overwhelmed by product choice and underwhelmed by quality. Ingredient lists that read like chemistry experiments. Marketing claims with no clinical backing. Products that were “safe enough” rather than genuinely good.

Our mission

Improve maternal and fetal outcomes worldwide through education and an e-commerce platform, so that every woman and baby has access to the best evidence-based education and to products tested and recommended by Chloe as affordable, safe, and effective.

The curation philosophy

Midwife Cares began as a personal list of products Chloe actually recommended to patients. That list grew into a standard. Every product we carry must be:

• Clinically sound — the ingredient list holds up to professional scrutiny.
• Ethically sourced — suppliers demonstrate transparent supply chains and fair practices.
• Practically useful — it solves a real problem Chloe has seen in practice.

We start with The Camel Soap Factory, a UAE-based producer of camel milk skincare with a decade of production history and full ingredient transparency. If a product does not meet our standards, it does not make the list.

Midwife Cares serves families and practitioners across Ireland, the UK, the UAE, and the Gulf. Shipping and pricing are localised per market. Wholesale and practitioner enquiries are welcome.
